I hope this meets you well.

We have never met, and probably never will. And yet, there is so much about you I think I already know.

I know what it’s like to be a 15 year old full of dreams, hopes and aspirations of a better future ahead. I also know what it’s like to feel lost and misunderstood, and in need of unadulterated acceptance from those around you. Finding My God

The god of my childhood was a huge, blue-eyed man with long gray hair who sat on a shiny golden throne high up in the heavens. He was usually my “go-to guy” when I needed something badly, like a new toy or a day off from homework… childish things, more or less. I usually spoke to him on Sundays too – during Sunday school and immediately after, when chastised by my teachers for not reading the Bible well enough or knowing tons of verses by heart.
