So here’s another funny story for y’all…
Years ago, I came up with the cool idea of starting a personal blog called the Selah Commentaries (this was way before Our Stories Inc for its fans out there (: ). Here, I penned down thoughts on self-discovery, life and love among other things. The word “confidence” probably popped up a few times too.
How many people visited the blog, you might ask?
I recently submitted an article to an online magazine called Use Your Difference (UYD) weeks ago as the third installment of The Purpose Monologues (TPM), an informal column of mine there. Gotten straight out of my “notes to self!” journal, the points fleshed out are life lessons I’ve been trying to swallow for quite some time. Success in this area has been good so far, but there’s definitely room for improvement.
Sidenote: The honest truth is “they” never told us how complicated life truly is when we were kids. But then again, we probably wouldn’t have believed them if they did.
